מערבבים את קלפי ההרחבה – קלפי המזל של המתיישבים של קטאן.
בכל פעם ששחקן מגלגל דאבל, עליו לשלוף לעצמו קלף מזל.
בקלפים ניתן לשחר לאחר איסוף המשאבים ולפני הבנייה/המסחר.
הניחו את הקלף המופעל לצד השחקן לסמן את סיום הסיבוב וסיום השפעת הקלף.
